This book is an enjoyable and exciting read. It details the true life story of Dan "Tito" Davis who fled from justice in the USA. Tito shares how he grew up in a small town in South Dakota, was a serious student who went to college, and became a winning jockey during his teenage years, earning a serious income. His love for money eventually led to his involvement in drugs, legal and illegal. Fleeing a drug charge, Tito goes to Mexico in search of a place to hide and a new passport. And so begins his travels throughout Latin America and his involvement with the criminal element there.
