About the Author


Mike Allegra is a journalist, playwright, and magazine editor. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and son. On Thanksgiving, he always asks for the drumstick. David C. Gardner is the illustrator of many books for children, including The Harvey Milk Story and Jamestown: A Ship's Boy. He has a degree in film from Northwestern University and has trained at the American Academy of Art in Chicago. He lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
