Sparrow, the poet, essayist, playwright, epigrammatist & self-proclaimed musician, celebrates the release of his new book On Certain Nights Everyone in the USA Has the Same Dream (Inpatient Press) at the Golden Notebook on Friday, August 17 at 6 PM. The book is a diary of Sparrow’s 2016 campaign for President of the United States. The author will read from the book, which includes poetry, shrewd political analysis, recipes, religious heresies, quotations from the Reader's Digest, diatribes against Donald J. Trump, theories about Atlantis, and the bumper sticker: LEGALIZE COUNTERFEIT MONEY. 2016 marked Sparrow's seventh run for President. After the reading, the author will take questions from the audience.

On certain nights is only available in a digital format (as an e-book) but other books by Sparrow will be on hand, including a new pamphlet, Donald J. Trump, Our First Fascist President: A Commemorative Booklet, which includes 21 poems by Sparrow.
