"The Gift of Wonder" An In Person Book Event and Conversation with Author Jeffrey Davis and Blair Glaser

The Covid-19 pandemic has rippled across the globe, with many of us experiencing profound psychological stress and burnout. We feel broken by distraction, disengagement and a default reactivity to life’s surprises, but we can rediscover our innate genius to lead a more hopeful life rooted in the present. Tracking Wonder: Reclaiming a Life of Meaning and Possibility in a World Obsessed with Productivity, offers an eye-opening and mind-expanding exploration of wonder and its deep capacity to redefine our identity, helping us live with greater openness and resilience.

Join author Jeffrey Davis, an acclaimed teacher, consultant and speaker, as he discusses his new book with Blair Glaser, a writer and executive and organizational consultant.  They will dive deeply into the question of “Why Wonder Now?,” exploring the six facets of wonder that Davis has mapped out–openness, curiosity, bewilderment, hope, connection and admiration–and how to develop them in your life. These form the foundation of Davis’s science-based, soul-centered counter-approach to hyper-productivity.

For over 15 years, he has researched, interviewed and worked with luminaries across cultures and professions to identify wonder as the single universal experience that opens us to creative awakening across all walks of life. As Davis writes, “Imagine wonder as a multi-faceted prism through which you can see and experience your days anew.” Tracking wonder is both a mindset and a skill that can be learned and cultivated with the help of a simple notebook and a willingness to dwell in possibility. Q & A will follow.
